WAP client implementation on Symbian
I would like to understand how to communicate on Symbian S60 using the WAP protocol. Communications with HTTP is simple enough but I would like to develop a simple WAP application [Native Symbian application] that will talk to the Delphi component kbmWABD [[[login to view URL]][1]] but this is not critical as all I really need is the knowledge that allows me to connect to the server and send/receive data requests in the same way I can do using HTTP over GPRS.
What I require is a simple application, that can interact with a given WAP server [[login to view URL] OR [[login to view URL]][2]]
I am not really that interested in the markup and am not looking for a WAP browser although some sort of WAP browser source for Symbian would be perfect :-)
Also helpful would be a demonstration of how to download a binary file [say [login to view URL]] over WAP
