--- I want the top category menu moved to the side panel. So the menu will go vertically instead of horizontally. An example is at one of my other sites: [url removed, login to view] Don't worry so much about the style. As long as it is all controlled by CSS I should be able to alter it to my taste later. Just have black text with no background and roll over to black text on a light grey background. And a black one pixel bottom border.
--- I would like to control the order of the categories in the menu. So maybe just have the option to assign a number to each category and have the categories appear in numerical order.
--- Also remove or max the part of the code that limits how many categories get displayed in this menu.
--- Where the old top category menu use to be I would like another menu. It can have exactly the same style as the current top menu. This menu will be filled with links that are manually added to the code. So to populate it just make a few links dummy links using the # symbol. Call them what ever you want. And let me know where in the code I need to edit this to add my own links.
--- The featured game pictures stretches to fill the box. Can you make it so it doesn't? I will always be using the same picture I use for the game Icon as I use for the featured picture. And all game Icons pictures will always be the same dimensions.
--- Could you get rid of the select game from the drop down menu, feature, from the side panel. It adds way to much code to the page, especially if I get my arcade up to 1000 games.
--- On the main page could you change the amount of category boxes that are displayed to be 9, and get rid of the advert box. So with the more categories box it will be an even 10 boxes.
--- How much work is it to be able to control which 9 categories display on the main page? Also with flexibility to scale if I change the number of category boxes that display to more or less in the future. I plan on having maybe 20 categories so would like to choose which ones display on the main page. But this is not a priority if it will take a lot of work.
--- Now this one, I'm not sure if it can be done. Let me know. I have an account at AWeber. They are an email auto responder service. I would like to have people who fill out the member registration form on PlayGamesPRo to be added to my AWeber auto responder list. So I need to integrate the two. The only way I can see this as possible is if we use the AWeber form on the site for the member registration and then some how use the data that is entered to also be put into the PlayGamesPro database, to create a new member.
I have already created a form to add people to my AWeber auto responder. I made it a duplicate of the PlayGamesPro form in that it also asks for password and re-written password. Could you tell me if this is possible. Also while I was creating the form there was an option to “Post CGI variables to the thank you page.” I have no idea what that means but I though I would let you know it is an option. I didn't use this option.
