I have several websites with the [login to view URL] program with integrated database. (phpWordPress 3.2)
Due to the integrated database I can assign writer permissions to people so that they can login to each individual website to post articles.
What I want is to create ONE member area from where members can post articles to any selected category on all the websites according group permissions.
The difference between the existing and new system would be.
Existing - Member login to website A, select category and post article. Member can also edit or manage his posted articles. This also apply for website A, B, C, D, E, F etc
New - Member loging to ONE member area where he can select one or more categories from ALL the websites. (Drop down category list per website would be easiest)
He can also manage his articles via this one member area, preferiable sorted by website.
The database looks like this.
Users = Global user list
Website1Cat = Category list for website 1
Website1Articles = Articles for website 1
Website2Cat = Category list for website 2
Website2Articles = Articles for website 2
There is 10 websites so it can perhaps become a little bit complicated to integrate all into one submission/management form.
An alternative is to simply create one submission/management form per website (as per existing system) so that users can move between the different website submission/management forms without the need to login into each.
