let's say you have a CSV with 5 columns:
in the first column is the english word 'cat' the second column might have the written hebrew the third column might have a 'transliteration' like 'chatool' the 4th column might have a .gif image of a cat and, in some cases, the 5th column might have the url to a .wav file where a person pronounces it
I want to have a site where people can create and upload these type of CSVs and share them and be able to view them as customized flash cards
So, if there was a CSV called '[url removed, login to view]' with those 5 columns... the user can find it on the site... then user can select what columns they want shown on their cards.
For example: usercould click to put column 1 (english) on the front of the card. then select column 2 and column 3 and 4 to be on the back of the card then they might say nah I don't want column 5 (the wav file) so they could leave it off...
then the app goes through, creates and shuffles the electronic file cards then the user can practice them on the website, using arrow keys to flip cards and spacebar to go to next card etc...
there is more I want to do, but this is the basics... I want to use a fairly common coding language like php/sql, ajax, maybe flash but I don't like flash that much...
