Need to capture search information from Yahoo. Based on an input file with a list of "words", need a pgm that will get the total number of Overture searches for each word in the list and the total number of Yahoo searches for each word in the list.
If a word from the list is not found in overture, then the number of Overture searches should be '0" and the Yahoo search results should also be '0' for that word.
To give an example: using the word "quills", Overture "keyword selector tool" shows 2635 searches for July and Yahoo search results shows 2,200,000.
Overture keyword selector tool is sometimes very slow, therefore the pgm needs to be able to deal with the time it takes to get results.
The excel input file with word list will contain two columns. column 1 is the "word" and column 2 is "reserved for my use". The program needs to create an ouput xls file that contains the these 2 columns and a column (#3) with # of overture searches, and a column (#4) with # of search Yahoo.
Speed of execution is not a priority, the need is to start the batch pgm and get all results for each keyword.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
