This project is a 'last-minute-accomodation' website that is a medium for accommodation providers (hotels, motels, condo owners, etc.) to advertise reduced prices on their accommodation, and for end users to find cheap accommodation deals at the 'last minute'. Open-Realty-PHPlist Every week it creates one plMessage from orListings (search results) The message includes basic information about each listing; orListing URL, orAgent URL, listing price, listing city, other orListing and orAgent fields. The add-on could use an OR search results template and the OR search results function (or a modified copy of it) to create the content, or another method. It could then send the content and other PL parameters to PL and create a plMessage. PL then manages the rest. I think it would best be created as an OR add-on. A PHPlist add-on is another possibility. Features it needs; * These must be configurable; o location of PL o time/frequency for the add-on to create the message and send it to PL o format and layout of content (e.g. orTemplate name) o OR search parameters (order, class) o plMessage format; HTML or text o plMessage subject o plList o plTemplate o plEmbargo o other necessary PL parameters Additional features we'd like it to have. These are not necessary; * creates 1 plMessage with both HTML content and text content, so that PL delivers a text or HTML email according to the subscribers. preference. * multiple mailings, each with uniquely configurable; o OR search parameters (sort order, class, others) o plMessage subject o plList o plTemplate o other PL parameters * Globally configurable o orTemplate for HTML, orTemplate for text o other plMessage parameters o default mailing settings * Joomla/MamboOR compatible. Links need to be parsed by MamboOR (or equivalent)
