I want to build a website wherein users can view, edit and add data. I have begun work on this myself, and hired someone else for other pieces of it. Almost all of the coding so far is based around PHP, although some extensions may require some java script. The primary task I want to accomplish now is to take a form that displays information from a mysql database and turn it into an editable page that then records any changes, the user who made the changes, the time at which the changes were made, and also stores the initial values as well before any changes were made. An additional step that would stray from simple PHP would be the ability of this editable form to also handle narrative notes that accompany the data being entered, very much like how excel uses "comments". Unfortunately, given my limited ability with programming and the language surrounding it, this is as detailed a description right now as I can give. I encourage anyone who is interested in working on this to talk with me further for more specific guidance.
