Please read this, and let me know if you need more clarifications of if you have questions: This needs to be written in PHP and run on Mysql, On the first one, let call it Multiblog script, here are the details. The details for the other one will be provided later. Multiblog is broken down into three areas: 1) The ADMIN area - this is where the admin of the script/site goes in to create new blogs by combining other blogs. 2) The VISITOR - this would be the general public, who can view the blog like a regular web page or they can subscribe to it via XML/RSS 3) The technical/BACKGROUND site of the script - this is where all of the processing would occur So, to give an example of how this should work: A ADMIN goes into the admin area and selects to start a new Multiblog, he is asked to enter the name of his new blog, description, and short name (for name, such as mynewblog, which would then be used as [login to view URL] or .rss). Then he is asked which existing blogs does he want to use in this blog, he would enter the direct location for the .xml or .rss or .rdf file. after validating that that is a valid link to a blog, it would confirm this to the user and then ask if he wanted to enter another blog to be added to this Multiblog, if yes, he would be able to enter a new blog, if no, the script would create the Multiblog in the system and give instructions on linking to the script. ----- background processing should be able to be set in the ADMIN area, and it should be so that everytime a visitor visits the site it would start the script every 10 minutes to check for new posts at all of the blogs that area used to compost the Multiblog All of the posts would be stored in a Mysql database, including the entire post (if available) if not, at the botton it would link to the original post on the original blog. ---- The Multiblog could be subscribed to using a regular reader like [login to view URL] ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
