Hi all! I need a small Android application which sends SMS with the follwing requirements 1. There should be a list of 10 last SMS:s that has been sent (so that you can resend them). 2. SMS may not be longer than max limit of 1 sms. 3. There should be a possibility to write and send SMS:es of your own choice. 4. There should be a settings area where you will set: - Password - FOTA server - and 4-5 other settings 5. You should be able to generate an SMS according to specification of Siemens TC65 module, that restarts the module. See chapter 8 in attached document for specification from Siemens. 6. Same as 5 but SMS should update the device with new firmware, using the servers etc in point 4. 7. There should be 4 options at startup: a) Restart device b) Upgrade device c) Resend old sms (see point 1) d) Write new (see point 3) e) Settings (see 4) 8. Finally, program must send SMS encoded according to description in attached document - I copy a few lines below. "To use OTAP, the developer needs, apart from the device fitted with the TC65 module, an http server, which is accessible over a TCP/IP connection either over GPRS or CSD, and an SMS sender, which can send Class1, PID $7d short messages. This is the PID reserved for a module’s data download. " This is not a very complicated program as long as you encode the SMS correctly and has correct NewLine encoding etc. ----------------- I have a PC program which sends the appropriate message with AT commands: For example the message: OTAP_IMPNG\n PWD:xxxxx\n APNORNUM:[login to view URL]\n APPDIR:a:\n BEARER:gprs\n START:install\n will be send by sending the following AT commands to my SonyEricsson phone. AT+CMGF=0 AT+CMGS=100 0011000B916437231637F17d15AA564F5441505F494D504E470A5057443A78787878780A41504E4F524E554D3A73657276696365732E74656C656E6F722E73650A4150504449523A613A0A4245415245523A677072730A53544152543A696E7374616C6C0A I´m not sure if this is to any help when writing an android app though...
