Wanted: OpenSocial programmers with knowledge of NFC/RFID technology.
BSW (Buurt- en Speeltuinwerk Rotterdam) is a non-profit organisation who manages several childrens playgrounds in Rotterdam.
For my graduation I came up with a concept of a Hyves (Dutch social network working with Google's Open Social) gadget which will (hopefully) attract more kids to the playgrounds in Rotterdam. Now I am searching for a company or freelancer who can help me with the technical part of the gadget. I can't reveal all the details of the concept, but I can say that it involves an Open Social gadget which communicates with several checkpoints in Rotterdam where users can check in using a card/wristband or something else with a built-in NFC chip. The nfc chips have to be connected with the users online profile. The time between checking in and out have to be sent to the gadget (translated to points)
We want to start with a testing fase where we will test the product with about 100 children and 1 to 5 check-in points. If this is successful we want to carry it through the rest of Rotterdam.
- Points keeping
- Ability to invite friends to a small groupcontest where points will be counted and after a certain time the contest ends and a winner is chosen (by most points).
- Small catalogus where (reallife) gifts can be 'bought' by using points
- Simple animation of an avatar (blinking eyes, waving hair, simple body movement)
- Maybe the ability to edit an avatar
The design and all the details of the product are ready, now we are looking for someone who can help us actually build it.
