I need someone to add an e-mail reminding feature to my current site without messing anything up! In other words, I want this featured added but nothing else on the site touched or messed up in any way!
I have an event listing site. When you view the details of each event it gives you the option to "attend" the event. Currently all people can do is add their name to the attending list for that event. I want to add a box for them to check that says something like "check here to be reminded of this event." So, if the visitor chooses to attend the event AND checks the box, then they will be sent a reminder e-mail 24 hours before the event starts to remind them that they chose to attend the even and that the event is just 1 day away! However, they don't have to check the box, if they just want to add their name to the attending list and not be reminded then they won't get sent a reminder e-mail.
