I have a website where people can sign up for a report. I collect the email address in a MySQL database. I send out 3 follow up emails, the emails are created using TinyMCE, however it has not been set-up with full functionality.
I would like a system to create nicer HTML newsletters (the users have not coding skills) that can be sent to everyone in the database. The system must save the newsletters and details like when I sent them out. After creating a newsletter I must first be able to send it to a test email address. Then only when I'm happy, send it to everyone in the database.
There must be a way so that users can unsubscribe to the news letters. This must not remove there name from the DB but just deactivate the user.
I then would like to use the same HTML creator to edit the 3 follow up emails. Please can you let me know if you think TinyMCE would be the best thing to do this or if you would like to use another system.
I would like to include images in the newsletters / emails.
Two other small things:
The page that creates the 3 emails is very basic and could do with being put in the same style page as the other admin page.
We receive email addresses from responses to printed ads and need to insert this info in to the DB. This would just so they get the newsletters and not the 3 follow up emails. A distinction would need to be made in the DB as to where the contact has come from (ie, web or print).
Please ask if you need any info.
