Ticket Comparison Website

We need a developer to build a fully functional affiliate ticket sale website using data supplied by various ticketing xml and api feeds. Example of similar sites whose functionality we would like to emulate include: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] As you can see, each ticket available on these sites has a range of prices and companies supplying them. The ticket buyer is then able to compare the best price/company and link to their purchase screen. You will be provided with all the xml feeds for all our partnership companies and detailed specifications of the data required and website structure. You will also be required to develop crawlers to extract data from other websites (i.e. Wikipedia) to provide content on artists, sports teams and venues. Database All the information from external sources needs to be aggregated so that is can be displayed on the main website or mobile applications when they are developed in the future (app development is not included in this project). GeoLocation The website will display tickets for a range of countries. The front end website needs to be able to recommend tickets in venues that are close to the visitors’s IP address. This function is built in to many of the example sites (i.e. their home pages recommend events in local cities). CMS There needs to be a CMS (off the shelf or bespoke) which allows me to manage the site. This CMS is to allow me to: • Ability to create new categories for events and edit existing ones. • Ability to edit content for each performer/event/venue. • Ability to edit the navigation bar and drop downs • Template system to allow a quick design change of all pages or specific pages with customizable template • Ability to make local and global changes to titles, footers, meta tags and other areas in each pages. Previous experience developing web applications for ticket affiliate sites or affiliate comparison is preferred. There will be numerous other features and requirements to be decided on an ongoing basis so the successful developer will get plenty of future work. For the most part we want to emulate our competitors with some customization. I would also like the database and scripts designed so future changes can easily be made the number of ticket seller xml feeds added. I Will Provide: ? URL structure ? Page Template Layouts ?
