I am trying to capture a name and/or passcode along with the score of a quiz I've created using Adobe Captivate 2. I have just completed a training course on using Captivate. However the course did not demonstrate how one stores the data i.e. scores, names, etc. Can anyone write a script or something and demonstrate to me how I would set this up on my web host providers site. I don't care if it scores the results in a database, a text file, HTML doc, etc. I just want to be able to collect the results somewhere. I have looked at several learning management systems and they all seem to offer a great deal of complexity. I can manipulate the data myself once collected, I just need a script that can pass the data along and store it someplace for each unique user that takes my quiz. If you have done this before or feel that you can accomplish this task please don't hesitate to bid. Also, I want the bidder to be able to show me how to accomplish this as I am not finished making the quizzes yet.
I know how to get the e-mail function to work but this does me no good because the user has to click a button to submit there scores and this then launches the users e-mail allowing the user to change their scores before I get them.
If you can help and have played with Adobe Captivate which is formerly RoboDemo then maybe you can help me. LMS systems are too pricey and lock you into service agreements like a host provider. I want to use my existing web host provider. Please give advice or recommendations.
