I have a Flash Coms server setup to stream a number of FLV's to my website, currently the site is functional and provides streaming for specific flvs encoded at 300kbits. I am now developing my actionscript and BWcheck files to dynamically change the flv to be played depending on the clients bandwidth, that is, if the users bandwidth connection is 450 kibits per second or more flv "[url removed, login to view]" will play, if their connection is upto 300kbits then "[url removed, login to view]" will be shown e.t.c. There will be 3 differently encoded flv's for each video presentation, encoded with a low, medium, and high setting. There are detailed help files surrounding the topic provided by macromedia, using these i have developed some actionscript, but now need some help troubleshooting to get it working correctly. Either my code may be used and corrected (im using an if statement within my initStream function) or the vhost / virtual keying method can be implemented if this is easier. A quick turn around is necessary for this project however this shouldn't be a problem as it will primarily be editing prewritten actionscript. I also have access to the flash coms server and relevant files in order to test and implement them.
