I have a pay-per-minute streaming video website I'm working on.
This is a complex project and an expert is needed, preferably someone with windows media server / pay-per-minute experience.
The problem I'm facing is, when someone runs out of time, a popup window opens and prompts the users to buy more time, when the client buys more time and closes the 'buy more time' window, he can't continue playing the video without refreshing the page -- i don't want the page to be refreshed.
-- this problem has something to do with the tokenid creation/update after more time is purchased and the initial tokenid windows media server has from the initial stream request.
-- once the 'todate' and 'fromdate' columns in mysql get changed from the buy more time process, the token gets broken between the client and windows media server. The only way to resync them is to refresh the page, which I'm trying to avoid.
- I need this resolved ASAP. If you are capable of resolving the issue I will have alot more work for you.
- if you would like to see a demo of what I'm talking about, please post in PMB.
