Photographer's website I have been commissioned to produce a website with a 3 main sections on top of the normal about me etc pages. Motorbikes – Weddings – Street style. All sections will display photographs that will allow the visitor to buy through a simple shop system with a cart etc. We have the designs and will supply them in a html format. Everything must be manageable through an admin system, as he is not technically minded at all. Motorbike and Street style section The photographer is a motorbike fanatic and visits many motorbike events and takes many pictures. He wants to be able to add a gallery (event) and all of his pictures of that day. Each image will have a set of keywords that can then be searched through the site. There will also be event location, date and bike type input boxes that allows the user to search through a simple search system to find the photographs they need. Weddings section URGENT!!!! If he likes the quote will be a fast almost immediate start. Any replies that are obviously just copy and pasted into all posts just hoping to get the job will either be deleted or not looked at seriously, please read the project, and then bid the cost to complete, not per hour and don't just say anything like “Can be done”. Our client wants to be able to set up a simple gallery that will have a username and password access system. So each client (e.g. wedding) he photographs can then login and access only their own photographs and no body else can see them. The viewer will then choose the images they like and add them to a shopping cart. As they choose the images they will also choose the image size or type through a simple drop down box. This dropdown box will be the same on all galleries through out the site, and will need to be controllable through the admin system. It will have picture type, size and price, for example 6x4 gloss = 20p 6x4 Matt = 30p 7x4 Gloss = 40p 7x4 matt = 50p Web 800x600 = 50p Digital 4000x3000 pixels = £1 Etc. All other pages such as About Me, Experience, and Contact etc must be controllable through a simple admin system using FCK editors for text editing. As the images are uploaded it would be needed that the system auto resizes the images and adds them to the correct gallery, this is more to save space on the server, as I don't want hundreds of full res images using up hundreds of MB's or GB's of space. This auto resize will create the thumb image, and the larger sample size. If you know of a way to add a watermark, we would be VERY pleased to hear from you. It will be installed on a windows server, that is capable of hosting Joomla and most other open source products, so their should be no problems with server and code compatibility. If you need any other info, please ask away and I will answer promptly.
