We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our company, we are a young but growing UK based graphic design studio with an expanding portfolio of clients. Being established for 18 month and with an expanding client base we now have an open post for an experienced web developer to help us with the technical development of our client projects.
Our company has one primary contact; your employment will involve working on a daily basis with my self to aid me with technical web developments primarily using the eZ Publish CMS and X-cart Ecommerce systems. I would ideally like to work with one dedicated individual, with established IT communications in place who’ll be easy to work with and who shares the shame vision of delivering high-end solutions for our clients.
As a creative design lead business we need a technical professional to support with bringing our ideas to reality, typical daily work would involve building custom CMS (eZ publish)/ Ecommerce (X-cart) modules, supporting with the development of custom database applications, resolving bugs and providing estimates for project schedules.
Our ideal candidate would have the following key skills;
• 3 + years, PHP programming experience
• 3 + years, mySQL database
• Linux knowledge
• XML, XHTML, CSS and table-less design
• Accessorily and Usability knowledge
• SMS (Short Message Service) knowledge
• Experience in working with the eZ publish CMS development framework and X-cart Ecommerce will be an extreme advantage
• Microsoft Access, ASP, .Net and Windows server platform knowledge will also be seen as an advantage
Working hours and commutations; in aid to foster good communications and build a positive working relationship we would like candidates to have a good understanding of the English language, to use skype with web-cam access, be online with Microsoft Instant Messaging Service and work between the hours of [url removed, login to view] to [url removed, login to view] at around an initial period of 20 later increasing to 30 hours per week.
There will be a probationary period of 4 weeks and initial hours will be 20 per week, this will of course increase once we have established a firm relationship with our selected candidate. We would like to view posts listed costs based on a month of 20 hours per week. Funds will be paid on a monthly bases and contract will be classed as freelance.
