Various small HTML\CSS\JS tweaks and bugfixes for a site

I'm looking for help for a variety of small problems with my website at www.bittersweetcandybowl.com. Most are along the lines of "I don't know how to do proper media queries to serve a higher-res image to retina iPhones", or "this small element of the page looks bad in IE9", or "add a simple 'Forgot password?' link to the Shimmie imageboard script I am using". If you're a jack-of-all-trades web person who's able to do HTML, Javascript, PHP, CSS and some Apache tweaking, this would be perfect - none of the tasks are particularly advanced or complex, but cumulatively they should add to a "project".
Most of the site is custom coded by me, except for the forum (which runs on Invision), the Store (which runs on Jcart) and the gallery/Candybooru section, which runs on Shimmie. Each script has been modified - you'd need to see my actual source code for Candybooru, and for the store. I haven't provided this code because I'm concerned about posting it publicly - but I can provide it in private if you're interested.
If you could come up with solutions to each heading (or most of them, if some stump you) I'd be very satisfied. While some might require modifying code I send you, I'd very much prefer you provide the solutions one by one so I can examine and apply them - for instance, if it's a CSS problem, show me the code to adjust or add.
