I'm interested in getting a World of Warcraft item database website made. Currently there are 3 well known sites but 1 site in particular that should be used as the main reference which is [url removed, login to view]
The site takes data provided through a program which gathers data from the cache files and data collected while playing World of Warcraft and uploads it to be inserted into the database.
The data provided contains quite a few items for example a weapon will provide the following data:
(color) : (id) : (enchant) : (1st socket) : (2nd socket) : (3rd socket) : (socket bonus) : (subid) : (trash) : (name)
All this data must be stored and available for searches.
At this time I have not collected the variables for the database as I'm more or less looking for a price before I move foward with this project.
If you look at [url removed, login to view] you will see 1 category of items and how they are sorted and the available filters for sorting.
If you look at [url removed, login to view] you will see the display of individual items. It shows the mob that dropped it with a link as well as comments and screen shots.
[url removed, login to view] shows an example of a crafted item which lists its reagents as well as skill required to craft it.
The site has A LOT of features and its important that they work and be coded to work as efficiently as possible.
Why do I want to clone this site? Well there has been a few of these sites that have proved successful but each one has sold out to 1 company which likes to load them up with ads. At one point or another they have also spread keyloggers. The goal at this time is to provide a reliable option which will also have more features later in time.
At this time I cannot devote much time to a new website so I'm looking for some quotes and time frames. It is VERY important that all these features at [url removed, login to view] are duplicated in functionality and I advise you to take a good look over the site before you make a bid.
