My client is a national car club with local chapters. When someone signs up for the national club, they identify their local chapter. After approving their membership, we want to push a button and have it create a user account on the chapter website with username, password, and community builder fields. Up to two chapter websites would be identified in two community builder fields on the national site.
The user interface would be a list of users with checkboxes next to each name, with the most recent members at the top (indicating which have not already been synced). The admin would check off the names that are paid and ready to be synced, and accounts would be created on the chapter websites. If the username or email exists on the chapter website, an error would be given.
The parent site for the car club is www.gmroadster.com. An example local chapter is www.tusconroadsters.com.
Here is an open source project that imports community builder user records in bulk. This code could be used to get you most of the way there: [url removed, login to view]
