joomla social networking site upgrade/update

Existing US based social networking, Adult Oriented (NOT PORN) web site, operating joomla 1.5.9. Also includes CBsubs 1.0.3. Additional standard modules are installed and operating.

The following items are to be performed/completed for this task:

1. Prior to beginning work, a complete backup of the joomla directory and databases will be accomplished. (Note: A daily backup is currently accomplished for the entire site. If work is begun/completed within 6 hours of this daily backup, an additional backup will not be required).

2. Upgrade/Install existing Joomla version 1.5.9 to latest Joomla version (I believe this is [url removed, login to view], although that needs to be verified).

3. Install/Upgrade existing CB subs Module from 1.2 to latest CB subs Module (I believe this is 1.2.3, although that needs to be verified.

4. Upon completion of upgrade(s), verify site is fully functional.

5. Coordination and acknowledgement of work will be accomplished by either e-mail or the use of yahoo messenger. Freelancer MUST be able to communicate adequately in English. Direct online communication with the site owner is generally only available from approximately 0800 US Eastern time until 12:00 midnight US Eastern Time. Site downtime to facilitate these upgrades will not be done between the hours of 7:00pm US Eastern Time and 12:00 midnight US Eastern Time.

6. Funds to pay for this work will be deposited in Freelancer prior to the beginning of work, however, 50% of payment will not be released for 5 days after completion of work to ensure work has been completed without issues.

7. Bid period is scheduled for 14 days, however, I may select/award the bid to a qualified bidder at any time. You are urged to bid early as time is of the essence in completing this project. This should be a fairly simple and easy task not requiring a lot of time. This project is to be completed within 5 days of the time the project is awarded.

8. Although no promise or guarantee of additional work on this site is made, you are encouraged to advise me of your hourly rate for work over and beyond this project. I am frequently in need of additional work to be accomplished on this and other sites. That work may far exceed the amount paid on this project.

9. DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT IF YOU WILL BE USING A PUBLIC COMPUTER SUCH AS AN INTERNET CAFE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WORK. Doing so will be cause for termination of this agreement and non-payment for work accomplished. Security of public computers is too easily compromised and may jepordize the security of my site.
