I am looking for a turnkey solution built on Red Hat Linux but I am open to other OSs. Programming language is up to you. I am looking for Apache web server to be a GUI interface for LIRC (Linux Infrared remote control). By going to an IP address in IE, people should be able to add/remove audio devices such as CD, tuner, etc. by putting in one of the standard codes or learn from the remote if none is available.
Once the devices are put in, there should be a GUI on the web page that lists either a generic remote or a generic front face with the controls able to adjust.
There needs to be the ability to add additional codes and future upgrades.
I'd like the ability to have it compiled in a way so that it can be burned to CD and autoinstalled on other computers with EXTREME ease.
Future possibility of putting it to some type of EEPROM device so a computer isn't necessary but a hardware device instead.
I'm not looking to play MP3 and WAV files. I want to enhance Turtle Beach's Audiotron. It is a receiver that plays MP3s on your network. Aside from having that I have a receiver, and CD player. I want to be on my wireless laptop anywhere in my house and through a web browser, be able to control my whole audio system like I was sitting on my couch in my living room. Play a CD, switch to FM radio, go to the AUdiotron, etc...
I would have a small PC in the entertainment unit with the serial interface that pumps out the IR in the cabinet to handle that.
PLEASE do not bid if you are not qualified to make a working product. You must know how LIRC works!
