have 10 or 15 different types of factories/manufacturing
Each type of factory/manufacturing has to sell on a fluctuating market:
There will be a market to match each manufacturing industry. The market cand have up and downturns that should happen randomly. These may last quite a few turns either way.
Users should be able to operate more than one factory at a time but can nly access a maximum of 3 different industries. And 'hopefully' these industries will not all suffere market downturns at the same time.
Users can bank their many in an interest bearing account. The interest rate is variable and if the market suffers a masive downturn the interst will also suffer accordingly. Have a list of available banks that each react to the market in a different way., One may have lower interst but less effected. One with higher interest more effected etc. (the same for loans but the opposite effect)
Users may take out a loan that has variable interests. As accounts above this is also affested by the market. Users should be able to have 3 request to miss a loan payment and the terms of the loans should be over 100, 300 and 500 turns (or something similar) any members taking longer to pay will suffer penalties (extra interest or extra charge per turn or series of turns)
Immigrant workers can be used for cheaper but there should be a randomised illegal immigrant factor that "may' be detected by the immigration dept. and the member may be fined/penalised. If the member uses immigrant labout they do not always get an illegal immigrant. Immigrant labour will give a higher production (5% or 10%) for a short period and then the return to the standard rate. The risk is that they may be caught with an illegal immigrant.
Infrequently there may be a worker injury. this may result in a compensation payout but not necessarily. When a worker is injured profduction drops by 15% to 20% while new saftey measures are put in place etc. Proiduction returns to normal after 15 turns in that factory.
A small percentage of works may work for a factory for 200+ turns. This worker may then retire and the member will have to pay themn a retirement payment. Workers who continue to work after 200 turns will receive a hiugher payout for every 10 extra turns thay work. 2% extra per 10 turns but the productivity of the factory increase due to higher experience. Need to find a balance between retiree workers/productivity and cash.
Bankrupcy: A single factory or entire member factory selection can go bankrupt. Members can pay a fee to remove bankrupcy (voluntary receivership???) or they can try to Loan there way out against other factories they may own.
Marketplace: Where users can trade goods.
