Our php forum software, invasion power board, was hacked through a php vulnerability and unpatched forum software. These both have now been upgraded and security measures taken on our server (hosted by us). However, there seems to have been something left over that is rewriting pages on the server to change a header call and go to another web site (jforjustice).
I am looking for people with experience in php/MySQL and forums to help us recover from the attack.
We have tried a number of things including restoring old back ups, apply all patches fixes an upgrades, attempting - but failing - to clean install the software and imprt the forum data, but there seem to be a deeper problem. Files are being rewritten, with no log of it doing so or effecting modified dates.
Would like someone from the uk, south east of England preferably, to work remotely or in our offices on this problem.
Please get n contact if you think you can help, please state any experience you have in these sort of problems and your knowledge in the software.
Lookin to start on this project ASAP.
