Vivvo ([url removed, login to view]) has the ability to post articles, comment on articles, search articles, organize categories, manage banner ads, and input streaming media. Please check out the live demonstration on their website, and see the administration back end.
We need the ability to easily maintain a database of...
1) events (concerts, shows, special events, etc) > "WHAT"
2) venues (restaurants, nightclubs, theater, halls, etc) > "WHERE"
3) performers (singers, DJs, musicians, etc) > "WHO"
... and post these EVENTS to the CMS with a specific DATE > "WHEN".
For example admin will add the following to the database (if any of these items do not already exist).
WHAT: Snoop Dogg Live In Concert Toronto 2007
WHERE: Fluid Nightclub, Toronto
WHO: Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound
Then the admin will post the new event to the site. So he will be able to select the WHAT, WHERE, WHO and input a WHEN.
WHEN: October 1st, 2007
The new EVENT will have a listing on the site, that is searchable by any criteria since it will use Vivvo's existing framework (ie. post the event as an article, with special formatting). Also there should be a Google map for the location (using Google Maps API), and users should be able to post comments about the event, and click to view/posts comments about the nightclub and performer each independently.
Finally we need to maintain a database of DOCUMENTS (Word, PDF, ZIP) and provide a way for the CMS admin to easily upload the documents (multiple or single) and post them to a special searchable section of the site.
This project needs to be started ASAP and completed in 2 weeks. Dedicated workaholics only.. ;-)
