1749 Vbulletin Integration

Hello, I have a website up and running. It has a custom script on the backend where I upload news headlines that will show on the site. I have also installed Vbulletin on the /forum subdirectory. I want to integrate Vbulletin so that when I post a news item, a forum thread is started and the number of posts about the news item shows on the front page in the comments column. This is identical to [login to view URL]: the # of posts are shown. If no one has commented yet, it should show a 0. The number should update immediately after someone posts a comment about the item in the forum. This isn't too tough, I just need someone who knows Vbulletin and php to make this work.
