I have a small web project: adding functionality (php/mysql) to my fully-designed & built css/html site. The need is for a mini-CMS, a way for the client to add a press blurb with title, date, a photo or two, and then "publish" it to her site. There is an '[url removed, login to view]' page, a '[url removed, login to view]' page, and a homepage '[url removed, login to view]' each displaying content via php. another [url removed, login to view] page just uses an include to show titles/dates - a sort of mini-index.
I have already built the front-end pages in css/html; you just add code to pull their content from the admin's input.
This "module" will live in an admin area that already has other php modules. you might be able to use some existing code, maybe not.
these are simple text input fields, no ajax or complexity. i have URLS to show.
For the homepage [url removed, login to view], you will actually output the db values for "title" and "date" to a text file so that the flash movie on this homepage can "read" the titles/dates. You don't need to touch the flash file; it's built. the text file has a php query string placeholder like:
 date title
and there will always be 5 of these. (the top 5 newest, or one she marks as "sticky")
I estimate the time to code is between 5-8 hours, based on experience.
the URL is: [url removed, login to view]
and click a title, etc.
