We have an existing website that has a number of shops hosted on it. We would like to introduce Paypal Chained Payments to it so we can easily take a percentage of all transactions on the site while the majority of the money goes to the sho owner.
We need you to do the following-
Write PHP to communicate with the Paypal Adaptive payments API to process the orders.
The work flow is as follows-
The checkout page will submit to your script the basket price and description as well as a unique basket id. If the user is purchasing physical items it will also submit address details, which can not be changed. (The checkout page is already built as this is an addition to an existing site)
Your script will handle the payment so the user pays through paypal and two parties receive percentages of the money.
An IPN of the actual transaction will need to be sent back to our site for us to process and verify payment.
We have tried to do this ourselves but got stuck with sending shipping details through and getting the standard IPN back for the transaction. We do not want to have to change our current IPN handler for this.
I think half our problem is that we dont quite understand where the chained payments come. IE, where do we fit them in to our current workflow?
I will need to see proof that you have worked with the Paypal Adaptive Payments API. Inparticular with Chained Payments.
We need this done quickly.
