I am currently seeking a programmer to create a script that will re-brand an eBook on-the-fly.
The best site to reference something similar would be:
[url removed, login to view] and the eBook that you download from the site.
Here are the details of what I would like:
I am currently brainstorming the idea for an eBook that I would like to giveaway for free.
The eBook will be free, but there will also be a product that will be sold via the eBook.
The incentive to purchase is that upon completion of ordering the product sold via a link found in the eBook, a copy of the eBook that they have just finished reading will be re-branded on-the-fly, by having a new link created with a unique ID that will redirect to their own PayPal account for payment.
In turn, the new eBook will be their own sales tool for distribution.
I will be hosting the site on a Linux hosting account with a mySQL account.
The eBook will be in .doc format, but upon processing via the script, it will be distilled via an open source utility (that you would provide) such as gnu doc2pdf.
The new eBook will be in a directory unique to the UID that the PDF has been re-branded to.
After everything is said and done, this is what will happen.
1 - Someone visits my site where they will be greeted with an opt-in page
2 - After they have filled out the opt-in page, they will be re-directed to a landing page to download the eBook branded with my UID
3 - They read the eBook and are interested in purchasing
4 - They click on the purchase link found in the eBook and are directed to a PayPal page consisting of my PayPal ID
5 - After completing the purchase, they are re-directed to my thank-you page where they must provide their PayPal ID and receipt number for confirmation of order.
6 - After filling in the required information, it will do two things:
- Provide them with their own unique link to the re-branded eBook that has been distilled with their PayPal ID
- Direct them to the download page of the products that they have purchased
7 - I would also like a simple tool that can query the mySQL database with information on the unique ID's just in case someone claims that they can't remember their unique URL and contacts me for the URL again.
8 - Now, the purchaser can provide the download link in their own webpage, or simply an email if they don't have hosting.
I would also like to be able to use this script for similar ideas with different niches.
If you have any suggestions that are better than my idea, I am open to any valuable input you can provide.
