Hi,

Basically I am confused by Mal's ecommerce cart (<[url removed, login to view]>).

What I am wanting is a user friendly shipping system where when I add products they are within a weight system so my customers pay aprox. what the shipping would cost.

I am starting up an online fishing store located in South Australia and will be selling hooks, sinkers, lures, rods, reels, etc. but lures/hooks/sinkers/etc. only weigh under 100 grams and Australia Post charges per 250gram increments and reels are 400-500grams and rods cant go through the postal system (will have courier cost of rods included in price and will only allow purchase of rods from within Australia).

Basically I would like a system where all the light items are totalled and each reel is charged the same shipping cost per reel and no shipping is charged on rods but also so people outside Australia can't buy the rods.

A free script for mal's ecommerce can be located here: http:[url removed, login to view] which should be able to do what I'm requesting but I just cant seem to get my head around it and get confused.

I have full PHP, PHP Myadmin, Mysql, etc on the server I host with.

To make the request easier on the coder and a system I would be 80% more happier with I would prefer the following:

I have a word file with html for Australia posts Delivery Rate Calculator where when configured with a cart the request is submitted live to Australia Post to obtain an instant and up to date price information that sends the info back to the cart.

There is html options for either: http post, PHP, coldfusion, etc.

But I would like it configured so when I add "add to cart" links in html on my pages there will an option to include information on the weights (that I manually input per link) example: units 63 (=63grams).

Mal's cart system is free so the coder can sign up there and test to see if they can configure to my cart. My merchant system is with paymate ([[url removed, login to view]][1]) and my url is: [url removed, login to view]

I have also included the "Delivery Rate Calculator" word file (zipped).

Thanks
