Online Film Catalogue

This projects involves creating a database and software to display results dynamically on our website. It should allow users to search our films using many different search criteria, such as Director, Starring etc. We require that the software allows us to customise the output considerable and to fit in with the current website design. Search results will allow the user to carry out further searches based on the first results. A database needs to be created to allow us to enter all the necessary film details. This will then be uploaded to our website. The results of this database will be displayed in highly customisable HTML format, where users can then carry out further searches to find the film they wish to purchase. We do not require shopping cart software as we wish to integrated our current software. Please note that the software must not have any security loop holes whatsoever. I do require my software to have more search possibilities and options. I would also like input from the chosen coder and suggested improvements on my ideas. Technical advice welcome. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform We need to enter data into the database using Windows XP. Our website is hosted on a Unix server running Apache. The website result pages should be compatible with all browsers and versions 4 and above. Technical advice welcome.
