******* UPDATE 15 Sep 2006 ******* I have found this phpBB class that does pretty much everything I need, apart from check if a user is an admin and in a given group. [url removed, login to view] It therefore only needs to be changed to accept more than one type of forum software and add the extra functionality. I am open to all sensible bids. *********************************** I require a simple PHP using cURL (or PHP and Perl using LWP possibly) based forum PM (private msg) system. It will require code to login to other forums with specified login credentials. Once logged in it needs to have the following features: 1) Be able to verify a given username is an administrator of that forum. 2) Be able to verify a given username is a member of a specified group of that forum. 3) Be able to send a PM to a given username and to verify that the PM was sent successfully (not just blind sending). 4) Be able to post a message in a specified area (sub-forum) of that forum. You must be happy to code OOP PHP as this code will be included as a class (for PHP4) in a much larger application. It needs to be able to work with the following forum software versions: * phpBB 2.x * Invision Power Board 2.x * vBulletin 3.x * ZeroForum 2.x * SMF 1.x ([url removed, login to view]) This is a list for starters, over the coming weeks I will need several other forum systems added to this list, so please do not bid if you will not be prepared to accept ongoing periodic work. Please also give me a price per new software addition for future reference. Along with your bid request you MUST send examples of your own OOP PHP code. Also please DO NOT bid unless you have completed at least one project on RAC and have a rating of at least 8.5
