I am testing out Request Tracker 3.8.7 for an on-premise deployment. I like what I see, but it's missing one crucial factor I need.
On each ticket, there is a "time-worked" field, that needs to be manually completed by the agent while they work on the ticket. I would like this changed, somewhere along the following lines.
Can be in any code you like, provided it runs on a LAMP stack. RequestTracker is written primarily in Perl, and feeds back to a MYSQL Database. should be easy to install.
- Every time a ticket/record is "opened" under 'comment' or 'reply' or resolve, a timer should start running. This should be visible to the user.
- There shold be a start/stop/reset timer button
- there should be an option to manually add minutes.
- when the ticket is saved with the update button, the timer should automatically populate the "time-worked" field, and submit the change to the database.
- Should be able to run multiple timers within a single browser xecutable instance (ie, multi tabs, in case the agent has two or three tickets open at a time)
- it should fit reasonably nicely in wit the standard theme.
You should be able to demonstrate the timer working on a test system of your own, before we deploy it to my test system.
If you beleive my budgetary range is not appropriate, please bid accordingly, but explain your reasons.
