SHORT SUMMARY OF JOB This was in a previous project but the customer took one portion down so I had to re-post the project 1) Shorten the unique field to three digits. 2) add the blind carbon copies of confirmation to the Program Chairs. ADDRESS: [url removed, login to view] DETAILS OF PROJECT [url removed, login to view] PDFs are continued to be used for abstracts, the Committee would like the author to receive some confirmation that the PDF was successfully uploaded. [url removed, login to view] confirm receipt of the abstract, the confirmation is e-mailed to the author with blind copies to a special TW07 presenters e-mail account (separate from the main TW07 e-mail account) and to the two Program Co-chairs. [url removed, login to view] specifies a Subject Area for the abstract he is submitting. This would change to “Primary Subject Area” and a second field for “Alternate Subject Area” [Add a second field for Alternate Subject Area (not a required field) and change Subject Area field to “Primary Subject Area” (required field)] [url removed, login to view] should be able to submit a second abstract on another topic without having to leave the system. [url removed, login to view] should generate a three-digit unique number for each entry, instead of the five-digit number used in 2006. System should also capture the date of the entry in a format of YYMMDD [url removed, login to view] would have to explain the alternate subject area field. [url removed, login to view] was being blocked when sent to submitters and others. So, to overcome the problem of spam filters, the confirmation-of-acceptance page and confirmation-of-acceptance e-mail should indicate that all correspondence will come from the TW07 e-mail address and that if a confirmation is not received momentarily, contact the System Administrator to make sure that a spam filter is not barring e-mail. The author should be told that he/she will be notified of the decision on his/her paper by Nov. 10. [url removed, login to view] should note that titles are limited to 12 words and that longer titles may be edited for space in the Conference Program.
