i want to have a seamless install and setup of the bitnami native application stack for concrete5 onto my Linux 64 bit dedicated server under Apache and PHP 5.*. i now am also using the Plesk 3.* panel and have several other software apps, Interspire email marketing software, Pinnacle cart, Wordpress for my blog, etc. i currently provide, and will continue to provide, email marketing solutions using Interspire and this must not be interrupted in any way with this install.
the bitnami native stack software is free and easily available and a few clicks to install, however i want to be certain all interaction for my other software is not hindered in any way, and that all permissions are properly granted and maintained for the Concrete5 app, accessing all current my Linux 64 bit server and Plesk panel features and permissions.
my dedicated server is hosted with Hostway, and has been for many years. There is, at this time, a consideration for upgrading my servers and a possible migration onto a more robust and faster Linux platform and server.
my plan is to develop a new website to replace my existing website (designed in Dreamweaver) and translate my existing internet business using Concrete5 while still using all my existing Linux server and Plesk panel resources, credit card processing, etc.
i would i imagine, to develop the new website using Concrete5 and then link up to my different apps as necessary and then display the new website using my existing server structure as i already do with my current website.
My future plans do include expanding my offerings for using email marketing processes and the CMS capacity of Concrete5 with other domains i might own.
i can program and develop the websites and maintain and operate my server myself. So I am not requiring any of these services.
