I hired someone to setup a custom install of an osCommerce cart. They have been unable to troubleshoot a problem with the payment processing. I am looking for someone with proven experience in osCommerce and previous experience with Linkpoint as the credit card gateway. If you have never before worked with the Linkpoint API and are not comfortable troubleshooting it please DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT. When a valid credit card number is entered the information is successfully passed to Linkpoint for future batch processing, however the website returns the following (edited to remove server info):
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class lpphp in /home/path/website/includes/linkpoint/[url removed, login to view] on line 11
We cannot put the module in "Test" mode as the Linkpoint account is actively processing payments for other sites and we cannot take that offline by enabling the test mode on the Linkpoint end. You will be given FTP access to the appropriate area of the server as well as the login/pass to the admin section of the osCommerce website. You will be required to inform us of HOW you solved the problem (what line of code was wrong, etc.). All work done on resolving this error becomes our property and you will not receive any linkback on the site footer or elsewhere. You may of course use the solution in the future anywhere you want without limits. This MUST be completely functional within 48 hours at the absolute most and within 24 hours is preferred.
SSL is not currently enabled - this should not affect your outcome
The cart is a modified version of the osCommerce flavor "CRE Loaded 6.15"
I am not sure where the Linkpoint module that the developer installed came from. If there is another module you would rather use to interface with Linkpoint, that is fine as long as it works.
You will need to use a real (valid) credit card number to effectively test this since it cannot be placed in test mode. WE WILL NOT bill your card.
We prefer to work with an American on this one, as we have now had two rather unpleasant experiences with developers from India. We will consider all bids, but Americans with a local phone number are preferred.
