My rules for this project: 1. YOU MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH LIQUID SOAP AND AUTO DJ (IF YOU HAVE ZERO RADIO AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE PLZ DONT WASTE MY TIME). You must have worked with liquid soap before. I don't want someone who is new to liquid soap. I have a radio software called Azura Cast and its open source and my git fork has modified extensively. 2. We are a small company and funds are limited. So our budget is $60 max. This project involves experience working with docker, php slim, doctrine, sypmphony, vue js, mariah DB, type script, redis, nginx and azura cast all wrapped inside 1 docker container. But above all you need LIQUID SOAP experience and radio automation experience and icecast experience with internet radio. I own Eternity Ready Radio an internet radio station. I am trying to get a new TOH feature to work without having bugs. I want my radio station ID to play at the top of every hour without issues - bugs before and after the ID. It needs a clean TOH transition. I have spent up to 6 months trying with a few ai tools and also a few freelancers. Some people lie and say they have worked with liquid soap. I have learned just because a freelancer says they worked with it dont mean its true. I can't have you wasting my time and saying u have worked with it if you havent, I also can have u think you can do this project without prior experience. Azura Cast is complex php and vue js code base with front and backend. So my TOH station id feature is a plugin for azura cast. My id does fire on time every hour around .59 minute. However i have issues where system trys to cut - fade a song or promo - ad right before ID. Some bugs are fixed, i dont have issues with items getting cut playing after ID, But biggest issue now is what happens right before ID. Not a clean transition from song or promo to ID. I need system to pick songs or promos with durations that end clean before ID. So I say project is over 90% done.

Hi, I am Adeel. I have built systems on Docker, PHP Slim, Symfony, Vue.js and Redis, which is the stack AzuraCast itself runs on, so I can move through that codebase without a learning curve on the framework side. For the transition bug, I would trace the scheduler logic that selects the next track before the top of hour, and constrain selection to items whose remaining duration fits cleanly before the ID fires, rather than relying on a fade or cut. Can you share the specific AzuraCast plugin file or Liquid Soap script handling your TOH scheduling so I can review the actual crossfade logic before quoting a fix?

Dear Client, I’m Md Toriqul Islam, a full-stack developer with 10+ years of experience in PHP, Vue.js, Docker, databases, Redis, Nginx, and complex backend systems. I have a few questions: 1. Which Liquidsoap version is your AzuraCast fork using? 2. Can you share the current TOH plugin code? 3. How are songs/promos currently selected before the ID? I understand the remaining issue is ensuring your hourly station ID fires cleanly, without unwanted cutting or fading immediately before the TOH transition. I can audit the existing plugin, scheduling logic, Liquidsoap integration, duration selection, and transition handling rather than rewriting working components unnecessarily. My experience includes PHP, Symfony, Vue.js, Docker, MariaDB, Redis, TypeScript, Nginx, APIs, and debugging complex integrations. I won’t claim Liquidsoap experience I don’t have; please consider this before assigning the task. Best regards, Md Toriqul Islam

Hi there! You need the existing AzuraCast TOH plugin to trigger the station ID exactly on time with a clean transition, especially avoiding songs, promos, or ads being cut or faded immediately before the ID. Since the project is already over 90% complete, the focus should be on finding and fixing the remaining scheduling and Liquidsoap transition logic. I have experience with PHP, Vue.js, TypeScript, Redis, Docker, backend systems, and audio-related automation. I understand that this task specifically requires real Liquidsoap and internet radio automation experience, so I would first review your existing plugin and Liquidsoap configuration before making changes. I would trace how the TOH event selects the previous item, inspect the timing and duration logic, and adjust the queue selection so suitable tracks or promos finish naturally before the station ID. I will test the transition around the hour boundary and make sure existing functionality is not broken. check our work https://www.freelancer.com/u/ayesha86664 Can you share the current TOH plugin and Liquidsoap configuration for review? Let me know if you’re interested & we can discuss it. Best Regards Ayesha

Hello, The top risk is TOH IDs being cut or overlapped because Liquid Soap cue logic and source durations are not aligned with Azura Cast's playlist handoff timing. I will eliminate off-by-one truncation and late fades by forcing final-track gating and a deterministic TOH injection point tied to Icecast mount metadata. I have hands-on experience writing Liquid Soap scripts that implement hard cut, fade, and filler logic and integrating them with Icecast. I have worked with Azura Cast-style PHP and Vue.js stacks and can navigate its modified codebase to add a plugin rather than patching core files. I have resolved cases where promos or songs overran their encoded durations by adding duration validation and pre-roll buffer checks so the ID always plays exactly at the top of the hour. I will start by inspecting the current Liquid Soap script and Azura Cast's transition flow, then implement a Liquid Soap gate that enforces an exact TOH switch using Icecast stream metadata and a minimal Azura Cast plugin to trigger it. Configuration changes will be packaged as Docker-friendly files for clean deployment. - Do you have an existing Liquid Soap script and the Azura Cast repo or plugin area I can access? - Is deploying a small Docker test environment acceptable for verification within the $60 budget? Thank you, @melopgabriel

Hi, I have hands-on experience with Liquidsoap, AzuraCast, Icecast, and internet radio automation, including Docker-based environments. I understand the TOH issue you described: the station ID is triggering correctly, but the item immediately before it is sometimes being cut or faded instead of ending cleanly. I can review your existing modified AzuraCast fork and TOH plugin, trace the Liquidsoap scheduling/transition logic, and adjust the selection/transition behavior so songs, promos, or ads finish cleanly before the hourly ID. Since you mentioned the feature is already 90% complete, I’ll focus on the existing implementation rather than rebuilding it. I can work within the $60 budget and provide the fix with a clear explanation of what was changed.

Hi, I read your description carefully, especially the issue happening right before the TOH station ID. I understand you don't just need the ID to fire at :59—you need the AutoDJ to avoid starting a song, promo, or ad that cannot finish cleanly before the ID. I have ever maintained a Liquidsoap and Icecast AutoDJ pipeline, including playlists, fallback sources, metadata handling, and stream reconnection before. My approach would be to trace the existing AzuraCast/Liquidsoap scheduling logic and your TOH plugin first. Then I would adjust the pre-TOH selection logic so it calculates the remaining time, checks track/promo duration, and only queues content that fits the available window. This should allow the current item to finish naturally instead of relying on an ugly cut or fade immediately before the station ID. I'm comfortable working within your $60 budget if the current plugin/code and a reproducible example are available. before I start, could you send me the current Liquidsoap TOH plugin/code and one example from the logs where the transition fails? Thanks

Hello. Thank you very much for your chance. I have read your project description carefully. I'm a Web, AI & Android Custom | Python, WordPress, Java with over 8 years of experience working with PHP Slim, Vue.js, Docker. I understand your Azura Cast fork already fires the TOH station ID on time around .59, and the remaining bug is the transition before it: songs and promos get cut or faded instead of ending cleanly. The real challenge is the scheduler's look-ahead. A common issue: the queue picks the next item by rotation rules and only checks the remaining time at playout, so the fix must happen when the item is chosen, not when it is cut. I would add a duration gate at selection time. I can build it perfectly : First, review your Liquidsoap configuration and the plugin's scheduling logic. Then, adjust track selection so items ending near the top of the hour are preferred. Finally, test the transition across several hours and document the change. I should be straight with you: my Liquidsoap and Icecast automation experience is limited, so if a deep Liquidsoap fix is required rather than the PHP scheduler, I am not the right person. Let's connect over a chat so we can discuss this in more detail. Best regards , Muheebwa

Hi, I understand this is specifically a Liquidsoap/radio automation issue, not a general PHP or Docker task. I want to be transparent: I don’t have enough verified hands-on Liquidsoap and internet-radio automation experience to claim the exact background you require, so I won’t waste your time by pretending otherwise. Your TOH issue sounds like it requires understanding Liquidsoap scheduling/queues, AzuraCast’s AutoDJ behavior, Icecast streaming, and how the system selects or transitions the item immediately before the station ID. The requirement to choose content that finishes cleanly before the hourly ID is particularly important. Given your strict requirement for prior Liquidsoap experience and the $60 maximum budget, I’d recommend hiring someone who can demonstrate actual Liquidsoap/AzuraCast work and explain how they would diagnose the pre-TOH transition before touching your modified fork.

Hi, I see you're struggling to get a clean TOH transition with your radio station ID playing at the top of every hour, and I'd approach this by checking the song and promo durations to ensure they end before the ID. I've worked with similar audio automation systems, and I think the key is to adjust the timing of the songs and promos to prevent cutting or fading right before the ID. My goal is to fix the bugs and get a smooth transition. I've found that one common mistake in these systems is not accounting for the duration of the previous song or promo, which can cause issues with the timing of the ID. I'd start by reviewing the code and checking the timing of the songs and promos to ensure they end cleanly before the ID. As a result, you can expect a reliable and bug-free TOH feature that plays your radio station ID at the top of every hour without issues.
