We are a screen printing and embroidery business looking for a way to accurately quote our jobs.
The cost of the finished garment is the blank item plus the printing first location plus the printing on second location, etc.
The blank shirt has a mark up that varies by the quantity ordered. ie. if the customer orders 1-5 pieces they pay a 100% markup. 6-11 they pay 90% markup. 12-23 pieces 80% mark up and so on.
The decoration is based on the number of colors and the number of shirts being printed. See attached list.
I've attached something similar to what we use now. These prices will all be changing, but this should give you a rough idea. Right now we have to manually calculate the prices and then invariably the customer says, "How does the price change if I go up to the next price break?" and we have to start all over at the beginning.
What I want is a program that my customer service reps can choose screen printing or embroidery (two different price lists), enter the garment style number, the decoration on front, the decoration on back and the quantity and have the program give a unit price and a total job price for the customer.
We also need to be able to adjust the pricing of the blank garments, the % markup and the printing spreadsheet as needed.
