Here is a quick rundown of my issue. I purchased 2 php scripts for my website.
1) from [url removed, login to view] (Simple Media) and the software works like
youtube. The software also works perfectly, allowing me to upload large (over 5 meg) swf files.
2) from [url removed, login to view] (Marketplace) this is a reverse auction software, and in the profiles it will allow you to upload images to your profile and also create a
portfolio. The admin of the software lets you set settings per plan on what
ext, and files sizes you allow your users to upload. I added the extension swf
and tiff to the list, and file sizes to 10 meg. But the feature it didn't work at all with either file, that was to large. Since the adminCp gave me this control I really feel it is either a bug, or database problem
I hired someone from scriptlance coder last week, to fix the problem, and now I can upload swf files but the largest that I have been able to upload is 344k.
I was hoping the ilance script would handle the swf feature, that I wanted of
the swf files, I am not sure why the youtube script works and the other is
In the Ilance script, in the admin, there is a setting to upload directly to database yes or no, if I pick "No" the image completes the upload task, but appears as a broken link, So that is why I think it is a mysql problem.
I am posting another project on scriptlance, to find another coder, That can complete the task, and either:
(A) integrate thea few features from the youtube script into the auction script by integrating the 2 php programs or
(B) Fix the file size so that the files upload completly, and view completly.
Once this is done the Portfiolo feature,on the auction script should play swf files, as well as the profile image should be a swf. The upload has a management area in the admin CP, This work now and should stay intact,so that I can give different users different permissions.
Remember right now everything works, except the file about if the file is to large. I even tried a Tiff that was 5 meg and it aborted.
So Right Now I need to fiqure out if, I should some how bandaid the 2 progams together, and keep them seperate, or to fix the file size issue., or mske s nice integration of the 2 scripts.
Cost is a factor, so in your bid please tell me what you plan to do, to fix my problem. And you must offer a garuntee that you will, complete the goal.
I want to launch this site, and I have been wasting a lot of time.
If you are very proficent in mysql and php, I am not sure if your able to
help, but I would also love to hear some advice , on the best option, because I feel that I am very close to getting this solved.
Important other things that's that you should note:
The last coder says it's the servers problem, and they can't fix the hosters server, and heve them give me access for larger files .
The Server hosting company says they have upload a test upload php program, and set the limits in the [url removed, login to view], and htaccess to 100 meg.
And that they tested the server and it is fine. (I have to belive them because
the one youtube script works fine)
The ilance team, says they don't do code and to go back to [url removed, login to view]
I hope you can help and advise me, and Thanks for reading and ask questions if you have them.
Also please don't bid if the job is above you, as I mentioned I want to get this issuse solved, and the past week has been nothing but emails.

Hi Curtis, If the server people can upload large files, I guess something wrong with the script or may be with server setting. Either way, I am ready to look into it and reslove the issue. Thanks!
