We have a very sensitive development project that we require a third party to work on, but remotely. This third party will use remote desktop to access our development box, and use visual studio 2005 to modify the application. It is very important however, that other then the ability to edit and debug the project, the user has no other rights to the box. Copy and paste through the remote desktop terminal must be disabled. Use of the internet (save for one site) must be disabled. The ability to install or remove new programs must be disabled. Access to our network must be disabled. The end goal is that we can invite a programmer via remote desktop to work on a given computer, and that developer is able to develop a given project, but is unable to take the code they are working on. The code is very sensitive, and must be completely protected from removal at *all* times. Complicating this matter is the fact that the project itself will require some access to the internet. This is over HTTP to one website. We will require that all network communication save for remote desktop and http traffic to this site is completely locked down. This is a fairly new approach for us and we need a document (tutorial) which walks us through the steps required to getting this done.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
