Very simple project.
a coder has designed a site and it is working fine apart from a very small bug. the bugs is in transfering a VB code to a PHP code.
both codes are included below. need to find the bug and fix it in the code so both function the same way.
**VB Code :
Dim CurrDate As Date
CurrDate = DateValue(Now())
'New license code required is based on
'(Numeric value of current date + 22) x 43
'Add a letter to the start of the string (current day - 365 / 15 = alpha equiv A to X)
'Add the string "MFBT" to the end of the string
'Add numeric value to end of string abs(numeric(current date - 18) / 140)
ValidLicenseKey = CLng(CurrDate + 22) * 43
ValidLicenseKey = Chr(64 + Int(CLng(DatePart("y", CurrDate)) / 15)) & ValidLicenseKey & "MFBC"
ValidLicenseKey = ValidLicenseKey & Int(CLng(CurrDate - 18) / 140)
*********PHP code is:(Need fixing)
//New license code required is based on
//(Numeric value of current date + 22) x 43
//Add a letter to the start of the string (current day - 365 / 15 = alpha equiv A to X)
//Add the string "MFBT" to the end of the string
//Add numeric value to end of string abs(numeric(current date - 18) / 140)
$ValidLicenseKey=$[url removed, login to view](intval($CurrDate-18)/140);
