Easy one here... VB Program called "[url removed, login to view]" that will be launched at user login (Start Menu/Programs/Start), which should reside on a folder with an excel file called "[url removed, login to view]" and an ini file called "[url removed, login to view]" and do the following: - If it is the first time the program is run that day (check if a file [url removed, login to view] exists): +Make a copy of "[url removed, login to view]" with the name "[url removed, login to view]" where yyyy=year mm=month dd=day, like "[url removed, login to view]" +Send a mail to a given adresses with a given subject, and the previos day .xls attached (without the use of outlook or anything, using maybe [url removed, login to view], it should gather info needed like MailFrom, SMTP, some body message... from the [url removed, login to view]) +Subject and body message should be able to have tags that will be change on mail sending, like changing #DAY# for the current day... Subject=Status sheet from #MONTH#/#DAY#/#YEAR# will change to "Status sheet from 02/15/2000" +Show some status/progress on what the program is doing so the user knows it is doing "something", I don't mind if it is a fancy progressbax, or just a textbox that says what it is doing. +Keep track with an ini entry on what the last file sent, so in case it doesnt get to send the file the first time it runs/tries, it will try again the next time the program is executed (it will always send the day's before file, if it should fail to send the file at any given time during the day, it can remain unsent and it doesn't need to keep track of things like "if i can't send files for 3 days, when i get to i will send 3 files at the same time. It can, but it doesn't need to) After all this has been done, it will launch today's file with the associated program (Excel, obviously) I might supply parts of the program if needed (mail sending with [url removed, login to view] but with no attachments, ini class wrapper, functions for the replacement of texts like #DAY#...) even though I'd rather have everything given to me.
