We want to be able to search a document RTF/doc and highlight any words that we have from a list in an Excel file. The list doesn't have to stay in the Excel file if you can maybe offer a window from the macro to paste the list into ot something
Please note that our lists usually have 200 to 900 **words** and **frases**. The Word docs that we will be searching are also usually quite big 100 pages+ so the macro should be able to work fast.
The reason we need this script is because we have a dictionary in Excel where the first column has English words and phrases and the second column has another language. When we have people translating our Word files we want them to use the correct translation that we have in our dictionary. So when they see a word highlighted they know to check the dictionary to see the correct translation.
If your Macro can offer any other features that would help us then I would be happy to hear them, however, achieving what I have mentioned above will be enough.
If we have the word "buyer" in our list it should still highlight "buyers" or just the "buyer" part.
If you can think of a way to make it highlight words with small differences then that will also be a bonus.
e.g "summerise" would highlight "summerise" and summerize"
