Attached please find a Access Database with one two tables inside. The first is entitled FilteredData. The second is Mapping-New. The first table (FilteredData) is the table of which I want a duplicate search performed on. The original file should stay intact. And, the code you create should be fully portable from Access to SQL and vice versa. We will call the duplicate/non-duplicate search PhaseI so to speak, which again requires the creation of a working/portable code that will find all duplicates within the original table (the FilteredData table). Exact matches on all columns are considered duplicates and should be place in a new table called duplicates. All non-duplicates should be placed in a new table called non-duplicates. A test of the data integrity should prove that the duplicate and non-duplicate table record counts tie back to the original table (the FilteredData table) . PhaseII of which may require me to request a new bid or just forward a bonus to you depending on your preference is not too different from PhaseI. In PhaseII I need to find all exact matches from FilteredData table the column with the heading PolicyNumFirst9 to Mapping-New table with the column heading Pol Pfx and Serial. All exact matches should be placed in a table called FilteredToMappedMatched and all unmatched should be placed in a table called FilteredToMappedUnmatched. And, again those two table should tie out to the original table. I have attached a Query within the database that should give you a better idea of what I am attempting to do however, it this query is not tieing out. Hence, my need of your skills.
