I have a article management script that I got developed from scratch, but I am having problems with certain aspects of it. It is using fckeditor as the editing tool for editing the articles and this is causing the following problem:
1) When an article is added to the site, the script is set to show a set number of characters for the article and then displays a "read more" link. Using the fckeditor, if you copy/paste an article from Microsoft Word or any program that reads text as html, and then paste it into the editor and then save the article, it causes the "read more" link to no longer be a link and off sets the entire alignment of the site.
2) Right now the naming of the articles and categories allows for spaces causing issues with deleting articles and editing articles. Need that it does not allow spaces for that.
3) The script has an option for categories, but by default it only shows the category names on the homepage right column, I wanted it setup that the category shows, but under the category it also lists the articles within that category.
For example the right menu column would be:
4) Need you to review and test the entire script for bugs to make sure everything is good for launch and if any bugs found, fix them.
This is a private project, you cannot re-distribute this script, and you are not allowed to offer it to your other clients. Your job on this task is to make the necessary edits to ensure the script is fully secure and ready for deployment.
