BDC was created to offer discounts on beauty services and products to both women and men. Club members join for free and can print a membership card to receive discounts at all participating businesses listed on BDC. It’s also a huge opportunity for businesses in the beauty industry (hair, nail, tanning, spa, massage, hair removal, fitness, make up, etc.) to bring in not only new customers, but to encourage repeat business by offering discounts on their services and/or products. Monthly fees for beauty providers to list their business are low.

BDC will also have additional perks for club members. They can receive even more discounts by shopping online at participating websites offering products related to the beauty industry (beauty supply stores, fitness equipment, cosmetics, bath & body, plus much more). This section is called “The Market Place”.

Pages to be created:

Home Page

Introduction to website. Information on becoming a member or list a business. Search engine (by city or zip and category) to find beauty providers (hair, nail, tanning, etc.) in your area.

Search Result Pages

Show results (list of beauty providers) in chosen area. Show list of businesses along w/ basic info. and picture. Button to click on for more details about beauty provider (direct visitor to detailed page on beauty provider.

Detail Page for each beauty provider.

Include, Business name and contact info, hours of operation, discounts offered, description, photos (should be able to click to enlarge), services available, products available, prices, etc.

Club Members Info. and Sign Up Page.

Will enter name, address, contact #, & email address

Club Members Account Page (Login Required)

Login using email address & password. Once logged in, will go to Members’ Page which will include search box (like on homepage). Also include links to the below:

• Welcome letter

• Membership card

• Shop in the Beauty Market Place

• Tell a friend

• Edit Account Information

• The Beauty Club Member Agreement

At the bottom of this page, will include approx. 4 beauty providers pictures, business name, and more details link to click on. Depending on the area of the member will determine what business is showed at the bottom of screen.

Printable card will include member id#, activation date, and member name.

Businesses will pay to have their online store listed. Page will show Business Name, photo, discount and discount code, and description of website. Members will click on link and be directed to these businesses websites.

Members and guest can enter friends name and email address. They will then receive a message and link to click on to visit [url removed, login to view]
