More detailed specs will be given to the right candidate if necessary.
Due to the sensitive nature of the project - (a new alliance in the automotive industry) I cannot give too much away here . However, the site is about a new motor vehicle under development:
The site objective is to:
a) capture all who are interested in the vehicle
b) keep them updated with events
c) list the vehicle specifications... (350bhp, diesel, 4x4... etc etc)
d) allow for vehicle bookings online and payment processes.
e) Have news and events (i.e gumball rally) listed on the site
f) sell merchandise related to the vehicle and the brand
g) Search Engine Optimization.
h) "Nice to be" be web compliant
"must be" CSS driven
i) Allow user to interact with each other through discussion forums etc.
j) Any other nice features you may have to offer...?!?
We have chosen php/mysql, other technologies may be sold to us as we will be expecting huge traffic monthly once operational.
There is currently nothing on the server (micrsoft root server). The group has other sites, but this site has to be fresh and different... the other site links will be given to the right candidate.
All transactions will be done via [url removed, login to view] and all future projects will be posted at scriptlance.com.
The winning bidder will most probably be shouldering other new projects, as the group is testing worldwide consultants instead of expanding the inhouse team of 8 developers/designers.
Thank you all for your time.
