In brief, the Portal would need to contain the following main features: A Content Management System Allow candidates to apply for jobs with a CV and Cover Letter (Candidate control panel) Allow recruiters to sign up, pay online and post jobs (Recruiter control panel). Both the recruiter and candidate control panels need to be automated. Have the ability to send candidates, job alerts based on specific criteria, by email. Have the ability for candidates to post a video based CV. A recruiter A-Z directory Have the ability for recruiters to search a database of potential CVs based on various fields like experience, location, etc. A master control panel which with allow me to manage various features and functions relating to both candidates and recruiters.
