We are looking to create a "band-aid" site, that will stay up until the full site is constructed.
Attached you will find the soft launch sketches. And below you will find some notes detailing what it is that I envision for those pages:
Soft Launch WireFrames: July -8. 2012
Home Page consists of an artistic header - modern and brand-conscious. Below
the header will be a rotating six-frame slider, featuring 1. About the
Museum frame, 2. About the Hall of Museum frame; 3. Rick's Writing frame; 4.
News Frame; 5. TBD
Below the slider, it is proposed the soft launch feature a three-column
break, with column 1 dedicated to Rick's Writing's and News; column 2
dedicated to pulling interactive feeds - Twitter, FB, etc, with a
manageable, scaled calendar of coming events. Column 3 will feature two
area, possibly three if necessary, sponsor spotlights/ads.
The second page (for purposes of this email) is Rick's Writings. It will
feature a header - consistent to the brand/aesthetic. The page will also
carry a "blog-like" feel with dated entries and art. At the bottom, there
will be a "Back to Home" navigation button.
Third page, News. Same elements: Header, consistent to brand/aesthetic. The
news will be featured with priority-leveling. Newest story, biggest. Older,
smaller. Newest story and "second-newest" can embrace art, video or audio
component to accompany the news story. Again, "Back to Home" navigation.
Fourth & Fifth page. About the Museum/About the Hall of Fame pages. Straight
forward. Again, "Back to Home" navigation.
You will notice there is no side or top navigation. That is purposeful, as
this is only a five-page soft launch, the pages are all self-contained. They
are all linked within the structure of the page-formats, meaning, there is
nothing on the home page that is not "linked" to the back pages, or
